Learn what you need to know on Dress Codes while dining at Walt Disney World. There are only a couple of restaurants inside Disney parks that adhere to a dress code. Plus, learn which Disney restaurant has the strictest dress code and more!
Signature Restaurants
Many of Disney World’s Fine Dining and Signature restaurants adhere to a dress code. However, locations found within Disney parks often do not hold guests to formal attire. Often, park attire (t-shirts, shorts etc.) are acceptable and you will not be turned away with good judgement in mind. For instance, Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom), Tiffins (Animal Kingdom) and The Hollywood Brown Derby (Hollywood Studios) and more do not have listed dress codes. A tip for women, I would pack a cardigan when visiting. Not only will it instantly dress up your outfit, it tends to be cool in restaurants with the air conditioning.
Character Dining
Guests will find casual wear acceptable for many Character Dining experiences. Many adults will dine in their normal park wear. However, for young guests it has become popular to dress up as a Princess, Prince and more. Consider letting your child under 14 years of age wear a costume to your Character Dining experience, for memorable photo opportunities. Guests aged 13 and younger are permitted to wear costumes into Disney parks and dining experiences.
Dress Code Requirements
The list below showcases Disney World restaurants with listed Dress Codes. The minimum Dress code falls under business casual attire, however dressier attire is welcomed. If you unsure whether a Disney restaurant has a listed dress code, simply go to the restaurants website for Disney Dining information.
Men should wear Khakis, slacks, good condition jeans or dress shorts with a collared shirt. Optional are sports coats or Jackets. Ladies should wear a dress, skirt, capri pants, good condition jeans or dress shorts. Not allowed are tank tops, flip flops, swimsuits or cover-ups, hats for men.
